Circa 1820-1840 Chinese Export Rose Medallion Mazzarin/Drainer in Excellent Condition and Very Nice Quality. Originally the mazzarin would be matched up with a platter and be used for a drainer when you would lay a piece of meat on the drainer. This is one of the better quality mazzarin's that I have seen. Since they were primarily used to drain the fat off of a piece of meat, they would get a lot of abuse. Very Rarely will you find a mazzarin of this outstanding quality. Circa 1840 Chinese Export Teapot Stand decorated is sepia color. Good Condition with no chips, cracks, or restoration. Diameter at widest point is 4 1/2".
Circa 1900 Late Pair of Chinese Green Fitzhugh cup and saucer. The saucers are 5 3/8" in diameter and the cup is 3 5/8" in diameter at the top opening of the cup and the cup is 2" in height. In addition there are two extra saucers only. All included in one package deal. Purchased out of a North Shore Massachusetts House on a recent buying trip. No marks on either cups or saucers but I estimate the age as C. 1920.
Circa 1890 Chinese Export Five Rose Medallion Butter Pats. Three of these butter pats measure 3" in diameter and two of them measure 3 1/8" in diameter. Good Condition. First time we have had butter pats in either rose medallion or blue canton in years.
Circa 1890 Chinese Export Cabbage Leaf Teapot with cross strapped handles in Very Good Condition. The bottom of the teapot has the "china" Mark which dates it to Circa 1890. Measures 5 1/2" in height. Nicely decorated with green tobacco leaves, pink roses and decorated colorful butterflies. Nice gilded finial on cover.
