Large Cup and Saucer in Floral Design that is possibly a Tucker of Philadelphia. Pottery ware made from 1826-1838 at a factory founded in Philadelphia by William Ellis Tucker, who had found porcelain ingredients at sites near Wilmington, Delaware and in neighboring New Jersey. At first, transfer-printed landscapes and floral patterns were executed on porcelain. This is a large cup and saucer in good condition. The saucer is 6 7/8" in diameter and 1" in height/depth. Circa 1830 Tucker & Hemphill of Philadelphia Transfer cup and saucer with a romantic couple on one side. This deep saucer is 5" in diameter and 1" in depth. Good Condition with a tiny chip on the base of the cup that is not noticeable until you turn the saucer over. Nice gilding on the top rim of the cup and also the rim of the saucer.
