These plate rails are made of SOLID LACQUERED BRASS. These rails allow you to create groups of 2,3 and 4 plates. The rails come with all the necessary hardware for hanging. The "W" shaped plate hangers are needed to attach plates to the rail. The 3 plate and 4 plate rails are 42" in length and the 2 plate rail is 27".
