Circa 1850 Chinese Export 1000 Black Butterfly Plate measuring 8" in Diameter. This Luncheon Plate is Heavily Gilded. The center of this plate is decorated with butterflies and a Central Rose. The Rim of the Plate at top is Heavily Gilded with many Black Butterflies. A very unusual plate. Decorated on the top of this gold are so many black butterflies. Circa 1880 French Cup and Saucer in Black and White Grisaille. Fresh out of a Philadelphia Estate with another grisaille item. Both of the matching cup and saucer bear the same border and also the same identical design of a lady in fill attire with hands over a lighted implement. Very Good Quality.
