| Circa 1840 Chinese Export Rose Mandarin Cache Pot. This particular form is also referred to as a jardineer or planter. The top part is definetely Rose Mandarin. Very Good Quality with continuous mandarin scenes. The underplate is actually rose canton with no mandarin figures which in a jardineer would make sense. The underplate takes a lot of abuse from the dirt and water and other chemicals used to grow orchids. As well as other plant forms for making a beautiful centerpiece in a home. The height to the top of the planter is almost 6". The diameter of the base undertray is also 6". The top "Opening" measures 4 1/2". The full diameter of the top is 6 1/8". This is a item most desirable by decorators for clients. We have priced this desirable cache pot at a very reasonable price. | ||||||||||||||
