| Circa 1780-1800 Chinese Export Two American Market Platters. These platters were made for the Philadelphia Market. They were made for a Philadelphia Family that we are presently researching for the name of the family. One of these platters measures 17 1/4" X 14 3/4" and the Smaller Platter measures 10 3/4" X 8 1/8". Both of these Blue and White platters have the same central scene. The scene in both platters has hardly any wear at all. The scene is of a building in sepia with trees. The decoration around the scene is raised in gold and blue. both platters are in Excellent Condition with No Restoration. We are offering these platters together but would sell them separately for interested buyers. They are truly the Best and Finest in Untouched Condition. I am sure IF AND when we identify the Family that they were made for the value of these platters will increase by at least Three fold. | |||||||||||||||
