| Circa 1875 Rare Complete Set of Rose Medallion Barrel Shaped Form Boxes. To find a matched completed set is Extremely Rare. I have not had a full set in this or the other forms in several years. The other forms were cylindrical,round,and square. The height to the top lid on these five are 4 1/2",3 1/2". 2 3/4", 2" and 1 1/2". The Top Opening of these corresponding sizes are 4",3",2 1/2", 2" and 1 1/2". Condition, unbelievably is Very Good. The smallest and next to smallest have a few tiny nicks and hairlines that can be seen in the last two images. These imperfections are being restored. The other three are in Perfect Condition. These Boxes are shown in the Schiffer Book "Chinese Export Porcelain" on Pages 99-101. We also have just purchased a similar set with the same form in Rose Mandarin that we will be adding to our web site. | |||||||||
