COPELAND SPODE FITZHUGH BLUE DRUM TEAPOT AND SUGAR BOWL

Spode has been a English Porcelain Maker since the early 19TH century. Chinese Export Fitzhugh was made in the late 18th and early 19th century which was made for the English Market. It was made in six colors. Since it was very popular Spode in the late 20th century reproduced it and was market in department stores in the USA as well as all over the world. I believe it was discontinued a few years ago This is a replica of a Chinese Export Blue Fitzhugh drum shaped teapot with double strapped handles and a finial on the cover in the form of a acorn. It measures 6" in height to top of the finial and 9 1/2" from handle to end of the spout. Also included is a covered sugar bowl with two double strapped handles and a finial the same as the one on the teapot.
