| 19TH Century Oil on 16" X 20" Board of Winter Snow Mountain Landscape with Cabins and Pine Trees. Signed by Josepha Newcomb Whitney (painter and art teacher) who was born in Washington, D.C. in 1872. This nice painting set in a nice gilded wood frame measuring 20" X 24". Good Condition. I feel it was painted when the artist studied in New Haven, CT. and in Woodstock, NY. Listed in Davenport's Art Reference and Price Guide.
