| Circa 1875 Pewter Porringer with American Eagle attached. This piece just came out of a New England Estate. We believe it is from the centennial period. Measures 3 1/2" in diameter and is 1 1/2" in height. I feel that the eagle is a cast metal and was soldered or attached in a similar way at a later date, maybe in 1976 to represent or misrepresent as a centennial piece during our 299 year anniversary. | |||||||||
